According to the Children’s Music Workshop, the effect of music education on language development can be seen in the brain. Musical training physically develops the part of the left side of the brain known to be involved with processing language, thus musically rich experiences can be beneficial to language development.
Music helps develop children's language skills, self-esteem, listening skills, math skills, brain connections, and encourages creativity. God's Little Creations recognizes the importance of music in the preschool setting and uses music in many ways throughout the school day. We integrate music into our devotion time, transitional time and systematically into our academic lessons.
Private music lessons are also available at our facility from two independent music instructors. For more information on private music lessons please contact the school office.
