My children have been at NHCS for almost 3 years now. My son began Kindergarten here and my daughter entered the daycare at around 9 months old.
We have had great experiences all around. The staff treats each child with love and care. I think every staff member knows every child’s name in the entire school which is refreshing. They teach in a way that makes kids love Jesus. My kids are so invested in their faith and education at such a young age it’s calming! I made the choice in the beginning of this school year to put my son in a charter school- why- because we wanted to get him into gifted classes and other sports activities that these other schools offered. We unfortunately had an unpleasant experience, we noticed a change in the way he acted, spoke and in the way he was treated by other students( he was being bullied). Thankfully when I spoke to NHCS picking up my daughter and told them what was happening, it is by God’s grace that there was one spot left back in 2nd grade and he began back immediately. The head of the school and staff all greeted him that morning, with cheer and love and he knew he was home! The school teaches more than education but biblical values in how to treat your classmates, teachers, parents etc. They really do deeply care about each student and family. The teachers and staff are very easy to communicate with almost instantly. They have worked with my son who has ADHD and continue to do so in whatever way they can. My daughter is now in pre-k 3 and knows so much about Jesus and his word and is very advanced in her learning. They provide great education for all ages. I can’t say enough about what a great loving school this is, with a heart around Jesus Christ and child’s education! Best of both worlds.
