NHCS High School
Academically Excellent, Spiritually Grounded, Character Focused
The NHCS High School faculty is both professionally qualified and spiritually equipped. These men and women are called by God to Christian education, integrating all academic subjects within a Biblical worldview. At NHCS, God is relevant to every area of study, so the majority of our High School teaching staff have Seminary Degrees with advanced formal education in doctrinal and theological tenants.
High school is a pivotal time when students deepen their understanding of the LORD, refine their habits, solidify their values, and begin to put their faith into action. Our mission is to provide a biblically grounded, academically rigorous education that equips students not only for college and career readiness but also to become young men and women of God who are prepared to impact the world for Christ.
At New Hope Christian School, we utilize a variety of instructional approaches and high-quality curricula that blend strong traditional foundations with innovative, Christ centered learning. Our college-preparatory program is designed to challenge students academically while preparing them for success beyond high school through rigorous coursework, enrichment opportunities, and intentional academic support. Students are encouraged to pursue academic excellence through honors level courses, dual enrollment options, and online learning opportunities.
High achieving students are offered opportunities to challenge themselves academically through dual enrollment advanced coursework. Students enrolled in dual enrollment courses obtain college credit while still attending high school. NHCS partners with two prestigious Christian Universities: The Master’s University and Pensacola Christian College.
Not ready for dual enrollment, there are still challenging opportunities available. Through careful evaluation of readiness, maturity, and prior performance, eligible students are offered the opportunity to enroll in advanced course work on campus, including 14 AP classes and courses in Logic, Rhetoric, and traditional languages of Greek and Hebrew.
This approach allows motivated learners to progress at a challenging yet appropriate pace, establish a strong academic foundation, and prepare for the demands of higher education and leadership roles.
