Elementary
The top two reasons parents choose New Hope, “traditional” philosophy of education, and outstanding achievement test scores.
At New Hope Christian School, our elementary program serves students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade by providing a strong academic foundation rooted in biblical truth. We are committed to partnering with families to nurture each child’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional growth. Through a Christ centered approach to education, students learn to view the world through the lens of Scripture and discover that faith is an integral part of every aspect of life.
NHCS follows a more traditional curriculum; we teach love and obedience to God, accountability for individual actions, behavior and efforts, which are all important in creating healthy, responsible adults. NHCS teaches absolute truth and our children learn that their responsibility as an individual matters. Academic excellence and Christian character development go hand in hand at New Hope. Students receive instruction in core subject areas including Bible, language arts, reading, mathematics, science, and social studies. A strong emphasis is placed on reading comprehension, effective communication, critical thinking, and creative writing, equipping students with the skills they need for future academic success. Our curriculum incorporates trusted educational resources and engaging learning experiences designed to challenge and inspire young minds.
Students at New Hope are consistently scoring better than 90% of their peers in core academic areas!

At the heart of our program are caring Christian teachers who are dedicated to helping each student reach their God-given potential. Through individualized attention, encouragement, and support, teachers cultivate a learning environment where students are known, valued, and challenged to grow. Opportunities for academic enrichment are available for advanced learners, while additional support is provided for students who need extra assistance, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Our desire is that students leave the elementary years with a love for learning, a strong foundation in God’s Word, and the confidence to use their gifts and talents to serve Christ and others.

New Hope students consistently rank in the
90th percentile on national standardized tests.
